5. Data We Do NOT Sell

Green Corporate Club does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes. This is a core commitment of our platform. GCC products are ad-free. We do not allow third parties to advertise to our members through the platform.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after deletion to allow for dispute resolution. AI conversation data (officer chat messages) is not stored by GCC beyond your browser session. Free tier scan results (career score, gaps, roadmap) are stored locally on your device only and can be cleared by clearing browser data. Career profile data (for paid members) is retained as part of your account and deleted upon account deletion or upon request. Venture profile data (for Professional and above) is retained as part of your account and deleted upon account deletion or upon request; shared pitch links are revoked immediately upon profile deletion. Anonymised usage analytics may be retained indefinitely for platform improvement.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. API keys are stored as server-side environment variables and never exposed in client-side code. We maintain reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. In the event of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours (GDPR/DPDP requirement).

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI Officers provide information and guidance based on their training and the context you provide. Their responses are not legal advice, financial advice, or professional engineering opinion. Always verify regulatory requirements with qualified legal counsel, licensed engineers, or the relevant regulatory authority before making compliance decisions. GCC is not liable for actions taken based solely on AI Officer outputs.

9. Governing Law & Contact

This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, subject to applicable local data protection laws in your jurisdiction (including GDPR, UK GDPR, Virginia VCDPA, India DPDP Act 2023, and CCPA).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Green Corporate Club ("GCC", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, members, and GIP sellers.

What GCC is. GCC is an AI-assisted regulatory research and community platform for sustainability professionals. It is not a law firm, audit firm, engineering firm, or licensed professional services provider. The platform helps members research the regulations that govern their work, share methodologies as Green Intelligence Packets, and connect through a directory and weekly briefings. All actionable decisions about compliance, engineering, financial planning, or legal exposure remain the responsibility of the member and their qualified professional advisors.

2. Membership

Free (Explorer). Free accounts are provided as-is with no guarantee of availability. We may modify free tier features with reasonable notice.

Paid tiers (Associate, Professional, Ecopreneur, Green Team). Subscriptions are billed monthly from the date of first payment. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months. We recommend testing the platform on the free Explorer tier before subscribing — Explorer access does not expire and includes AI Officer Asks at no cost.

3. AI Officer Usage

AI Officers provide information and guidance only — not legal, financial, engineering, or professional advice. Always verify outputs with a qualified professional before making compliance or investment decisions. GCC is not liable for decisions made based on AI Officer responses.

Monthly credit allowances are as stated in your membership tier. Unused Asks do not roll over. Top-up Asks do not expire. Credits are non-refundable once purchased.

4. Green Intelligence Packets (GIPs)

4a. Buyers. GIPs are purchased as digital products. All sales are final. GCC does not guarantee specific outcomes. You are responsible for verifying that any GIP is appropriate for your specific regulatory jurisdiction, facility type, and operational context before implementation.

4b. Individual Sellers. By listing a GIP you represent and warrant that: (i) you are the sole creator and owner of the methodology or have full authority to licence it; (ii) the content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, trade secret, patent, copyright, or confidential information; (iii) the content does not include client-specific data, proprietary client information, or personally identifiable information belonging to third parties; and (iv) you have not included any information subject to a non-disclosure agreement owed to any third party. You receive 80% of net revenue (gross sale minus payment processing fees) on each sale. GCC retains 20% of net as a platform fee. Payment processing fees are charged by Stripe and deducted before the 80/20 split. The GIP coaching fee is non-refundable once Dr. Aria has commenced the pipeline.

4c. Corporate and Team Sellers. Where a GIP is created by an employee or agent on behalf of an organisation: (i) the authorised representative warrants they have full authority to bind their organisation and that the methodology is owned by the organisation; (ii) the organisation confirms the methodology does not include client-specific data, client proprietary processes, active regulatory submission drafts, or any information subject to a confidentiality obligation owed to a third party; (iii) GIP revenue is paid to the registered account holder — organisations are solely responsible for ensuring revenue is correctly allocated under their own internal agreements; (iv) if the GIP creator leaves the organisation, revenue continues to the registered account holder — GCC will not adjudicate IP ownership disputes between employers and employees; (v) organisations acknowledge that AI Officer conversations pass through Anthropic's API — do not input client confidential data or trade secrets during GIP development; (vi) GCC strongly recommends organisations obtain independent legal review before publishing methodologies derived from proprietary internal processes.

4d. Corporate Attribution. Green Team members may display their organisation name as the GIP publisher. GCC displays attribution as provided and does not verify company registration, trading status, or authorisation claims. GCC accepts no liability for false or unauthorised attribution.

4e. AI Research-Backed GIPs. AI Research-Backed GIPs were authored by GCC AI Officers and cross-referenced against named primary sources. GCC does not warrant that content is complete, current, or free from error. Buyers must verify against the latest official sources before implementation or regulatory submission. AI-authored GIPs do not constitute legal, engineering, or environmental advice.

4f. No Professional Advice. No GIP — whether AI-authored, community-built, or corporate-published — constitutes legal, engineering, regulatory, or professional advice. Where physical measurement, licensed engineering sign-off, or formal regulatory submission is required, engage a qualified licensed professional. GCC is not liable for regulatory penalties, enforcement actions, or operational losses arising from GIP implementation.

4g. IP Scan and Review. All GIPs pass through an IP and data safety review during the Dr. Aria pipeline. This review is an automated assistance tool — it is not a substitute for legal review. GCC reserves the right to reject or remove any GIP that contains potentially confidential third-party information or infringes third-party IP, without refund of the coaching fee.

4h. Primary Sources. Each GCC-authored GIP includes a primary sources reference list. Community and corporate GIPs must cite at least one named regulation, standard, or technical reference per methodology step.

4i. All Sales Final. GIPs are digital products. All sales are final and non-refundable.

4A. Forge Venture Scoring & Investment Readiness Score

Nature of the IRS. The Investment Readiness Score (/40) generated by Forge is an AI-assisted analytical tool — not an investment recommendation, valuation, due diligence report, or professional assessment. The IRS reflects Forge's analysis of the information you provide against publicly available regulatory intelligence. It does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or an endorsement of your venture by GCC.

Your responsibilities. You represent that: (i) the venture description or pitch deck you submit is your own work or you have authorisation to submit it; (ii) you will not include client-confidential data, trade secrets belonging to third parties, or material subject to non-disclosure agreements; (iii) you understand that IRS scores are informational only and should not be the sole basis for investment, hiring, or business decisions.

Data handling. Venture descriptions are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Professional tier and above: structured venture profiles (score, dimensions, gaps, roadmap, and a 500-character excerpt) are stored securely as part of your account. Free and Associate tiers: venture results are stored locally on your device only — not on our servers. A free account (email + name) is created in Redis. You can delete your venture profile at any time from your Command Centre.

Shared pitch links. Ecopreneur members may generate shareable links to their pitch summary. Shared pages display your IRS score, 8 dimensions, sector, stage, and strengths only. They never display your raw pitch text, identified gaps, coaching conversations, or email address. You can revoke any shared link instantly. GCC is not responsible for any use a third party makes of information accessed through a shared link while it was active.

No liability. GCC is not liable for: (i) investment or funding decisions made on the basis of IRS scores; (ii) the accuracy of regulatory intelligence cited by Forge; (iii) any loss arising from reliance on Forge's gap analysis or roadmap; or (iv) any third-party actions taken based on shared pitch links. Always consult qualified legal, financial, and business advisors before making investment or fundraising decisions.

5. Intellectual Property

All GCC platform content, branding, and AI Officer system architecture is owned by Green Corporate Club. Members and organisations retain ownership of GIP content they create. By listing a GIP you grant GCC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, promote, and distribute your GIP to buyers for the duration of its listing. GCC does not acquire ownership of your methodology. You may delist your GIP at any time; removal does not affect existing purchaser licences. AI Officer outputs generated during the GIP pipeline are a tool to assist your creation — ownership of the final GIP rests with the submitting member or organisation.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use GCC to: share access credentials outside your authorised team seats; attempt to circumvent Ask limits or rate limits; submit GIP methodologies containing false or client-confidential information without authorisation; harass other members; scrape platform content; use AI Officers to generate outputs for commercial resale outside the GIP framework; or input active client regulatory submissions or commercially sensitive trade secrets into AI Officers. Green Team accounts are limited to 3 authorised users — sharing login credentials beyond your seat count is a breach of these terms.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund of any unused subscription period.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (i) GCC's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from membership or platform use shall not exceed the amount you paid to GCC in the three months preceding the claim; (ii) GCC's total liability in connection with any GIP shall not exceed the purchase price of that GIP; (iii) GCC is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages including lost profits, regulatory penalties, enforcement actions, or reputational harm; (iv) GCC is not liable for IP disputes arising between corporate GIP sellers and their employees, contractors, or clients; (v) GCC is not liable for losses arising from a buyer's failure to verify GIP content before implementation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Virginia, USA.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify members by email and post the updated version here with a new date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

1. What an AI Officer actually is

An AI Officer is a Claude language model from Anthropic, configured by GCC with a specialist persona, a regulatory focus area (NOVA data centres, EU buildings, India energy, etc.), and a system prompt that instructs it to cite sources, decline to give regulated professional advice, and escalate to a human professional where appropriate.

AI Officers are not human consultants. They have no professional indemnity insurance, no licence to practise law or engineering, and no legal authority to certify compliance. They are a research and learning tool — a way to get a structured, source-cited starting point on a regulatory question much faster than reading the underlying regulation cold.

2. What AI Officers are good at

✓ Summarising what a named regulation requires at a high level
✓ Pointing to the correct regulator, statute, or guidance document
✓ Explaining technical sustainability concepts (PUE, WUE, Scope 3, BREEAM, EUDR due diligence)
✓ Helping you draft a question, request, or framework that you'll then refine with a qualified professional
✓ Comparing approaches across hubs (e.g. how CSRD and SEC climate rules differ)
✓ Surfacing weekly regulatory news from primary sources every Monday

3. What AI Officers are NOT good at — and where to verify

✗ Filing actual regulatory returns or signing certifications
✗ Providing legal advice that could be relied on in a dispute
✗ Giving financial advice or specific investment recommendations
✗ Producing engineering calculations that affect human safety
✗ Confirming the current legal status of regulations in fast-moving jurisdictions — always verify the date
✗ Replacing professional indemnity insurance, audit, or due diligence

For each of the above, the right move is: use the AI Officer to prepare for the conversation with a licensed professional, not to replace it.

4. How accurate is the output?

AI Officers are large language models. They occasionally produce confident-sounding statements that are wrong — the technical term is "hallucination". GCC mitigates this by:

• Anchoring each officer's system prompt to named regulations and primary sources
• Instructing officers to cite the regulator or statute by name
• Instructing officers to say "I don't know — verify with [authority]" when uncertain
• Using stronger Claude models (Sonnet) on higher-tier plans for complex questions
• Refreshing weekly intelligence bulletins from primary sources every Monday

Despite all of this, an AI Officer can still be wrong. Treat every output as a knowledgeable starting point, not a final answer. If an officer cites a specific regulation, click through to the source and read it yourself before acting.

5. Where your messages go

Every message you send to an AI Officer is transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models by default. GCC does not store the content of your conversations beyond your active browser session. We retain only the metadata needed to enforce monthly Ask limits (count of Asks per month, not their content).

6. What you must NOT send to AI Officers

Do not paste into any AI Officer chat:

✗ Client-specific confidential data, client identifiers, or facility identifiers belonging to your employer's clients
✗ Active regulatory submission drafts containing privileged legal or engineering work product
✗ Trade secrets, proprietary formulas, or commercially sensitive process detail
✗ Personal data of named individuals beyond what's strictly needed to ask a general question
✗ Anything subject to a non-disclosure agreement with a third party

Reframe the question in general terms. AI Officers work much better with cleanly anonymised questions anyway.

7. AI-generated content labelling

Per EU AI Act Article 50 transparency requirements, the following GCC content is generated wholly or substantially by AI and is labelled as such on the platform:

• Weekly Intelligence Bulletins (refreshed every Monday from primary sources)
• AI Officer chat responses (in the dashboard, demo, and embedded chat surfaces)
• The weekly email digest of bulletins
• Green Skills Score reports and gap analyses
• CV scan summaries and Luma career planning outputs
• AI Research-Backed GIPs (these carry an "AI Research-Backed" badge)

GIPs created via the Dr. Aria pipeline are co-authored — the methodology is the human creator's, the AI assists with structuring, drafting, and compliance cross-referencing. These are labelled with the human creator's name as primary author.

8. Spotted an error?

If you find a factual error in a bulletin, an AI Officer response, or any AI-generated content on GCC, email corrections@greencorporateclub.com with the date, officer name (if applicable), and the specific claim. We publish a correction within 48 hours of validation, and improve our system prompts to prevent recurrence.

We treat corrections as a feature, not a complaint. Sustainability regulation moves quickly — we'd rather know.

9. Liability

See Terms & Conditions Section 3 for the full liability statement. In summary: GCC's AI Officers provide information and educational guidance only. GCC is not liable for actions taken based solely on AI Officer outputs. The user is responsible for verifying outputs with qualified professionals before making compliance, financial, or operational decisions.

1. Who issues the badge

Green Corporate Club (greencorporateclub.com) issues the badge based on its own verification methodology. GCC is not an accreditation body. We do not certify legal competence, professional licensure, or fitness to practise. The badge represents that, in GCC's review, the member has demonstrated working knowledge of named regulations in their declared hub and holds at least one supporting credential on record.

For reliance in a regulated decision (audit, legal filing, expert testimony), refer to the member's underlying professional credentials directly with the issuing body, not to the GCC badge.

2. The two badge levels

Awarded when a member completes at least two of the three criteria below and the GCC team has reviewed the submission.

Everything required for Verified Professional, plus one additional criterion that proves the member has created and contributed real green innovation.

3. How to apply (for members)

1. Sign in to your GCC account and open your member dashboard.
2. Open the Member Directory tab. You'll see a 3-step verification journey.
3. Take the Hub Assessment — your hub's AI Officer asks 5–15 questions; pass mark 70%, retakeable.
4. Upload your credential — name, issuer, public registry URL, and a short professional bio.
5. Submit for review. The GCC team reviews submissions within 48 hours. We email you when your badge activates.

Your badge appears on your profile, on directory listings, and you can link from anywhere (LinkedIn, your CV, your email signature) to https://greencorporateclub.com/?p=verification as the canonical reference for what the badge means.

4. How to verify a member (for employers and reviewers)

Employers, project sponsors, and journalists who want to validate a member's GCC Verified claim should:

1. Visit the GCC Member Directory and search by name. A profile with a current ⭐ badge is verified at the time of viewing — badges are revoked automatically if criteria lapse.
2. Check the issuing body of any displayed credential against its public registry directly (LEED, BREEAM, NABCEP, NETA, etc.). GCC does not replace those registries — it links to them.
3. For commissioned work, contract negotiations, or other regulated decisions, request a copy of the credential certificate and verify it with the issuing body. The GCC badge is a signal, not a substitute.

If you believe a member is misrepresenting their credentials, email corrections@greencorporateclub.com with details. GCC investigates within 5 working days.

The badge is not a professional licence and does not authorise the holder to practise law, engineering, accountancy, or any regulated profession. It is not equivalent to a national registration (such as Chartered Engineer, P.E., or qualifying as a Statutory Auditor). For decisions that require licensed professional advice, work directly with a qualified individual whose authority is registered in the relevant jurisdiction.
